Backyard havens are all the rage, incorporating all the amenities of the modern day naturalist.  Fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, canopies hovering closely over glamorous setting groups crafted of iron and fine woods, chunky picnic tables and deluxe grills - a tried and true friend of modern day naturalists and dieters alike!  In fact, firing up that grill may prove beneficial to weight loss.

Grilled foods are generally close to their natural state, and foods consumed at their natural state contain the fewest calories and the highest nutritional values.  Freshly cut vegetables, including corn on the cob which is considered in the health world as one of the biggest diet no-no's, contains minimal calories when tossed on the grill.

Lean meats turn out even meaner and leaner when cooked on the grill because grilling rids meats of some of the fats.  And grilling also adds a unique taste to foods, adding oomph to your bland diet!
