Why Carb Diets Are So Popular

We'll right to the MEAT of this article! The chief reason that low carb diets are so popular is because weight loss is rapid. When you're trying to lose weight, nothing will keep you more motivated than a swift drop in weight.

Although weight loss is swift, if the dieter resumes a normal diet, the weight will almost always come right back on.

Another reason that low carb dieting is so popular is because for some reason, there is a public conception that carb dieters can enjoy an unlimited amount of certain foods - which is simply an Old Diet Wives Tale.

Low carb dieting has a lot of very good ideas to offer, but the dieter must be cautious of information that sounds more fad than fab.

Example: Eggs are great and for now, the current recommendation is one egg per day, and that includes eggs that were used in preparing all the things that a person eats throughout the day; however, eating one-half dozen eggs at one sitting is a bit nuts. So the dieter needs to exercise their good common sense.
